What is the minimum age requirement for taking a driver’s license test?

What is the required age to obtain a driver’s license?
To qualify for a driver’s license for the aforementioned classes, drivers must meet certain criteria. They must be in good physical health, possess the necessary level of education, and be of minimum age (as determined by the specific class they are applying for) at the time of their driving test. The age requirement is determined based on the individual’s date of birth as recorded during the driver’s license examination process.
For instance, if Mr. A was born on September 13, 2004, he is eligible to register for the class A1 motorbike driving license test starting from September 13, 2022.
What is the age requirement for riding an electric motorbike? Is a driver’s license necessary to ride one?
According to Article 3, Clause 1 of Decree No. 100/2019/ND-CP, an electric motorbike refers to a motorbike that is powered by an electric motor with a maximum capacity of 4 kW or less. Additionally, it should have a maximum design speed that does not exceed 50 km/h.
In accordance with point a, Clause 1, Article 60 mentioned above, electric motorbikes are classified as vehicles with a displacement of under 50cm3. It is important to note that only individuals who are 16 years old or older are allowed to operate electric motorbikes, and the operator must possess an A1 class license.
