This hybrid engine gives the Czinger 21C “terrifying” power, with a total capacity of up to 1233 horsepower. The interesting thing is that the internal combustion engine (V8) is responsible for providing most of the power for the car with a capacity of only 2.88 liters. Showing that Czinger Vehicles’ ability to optimize engine power/cylinder volume is truly impressive.
This engine block works synchronously with an electric motor located at the front wheel axle using a lithium-titanate battery, which is introduced to provide faster charging capabilities than other types of lithium-ion batteries.
Thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber as well as other lightweight materials, the weight of the Czinger 21C only stops at 1250 kg. The combination of high power and low weight gives the car outstanding performance, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 248 mph.
